Clark's Pump-N-Shop will be opening the 65th store on April 1, 2009. Located in an area of Ashland called Ironville, this will be store #27. Welcome, manager Sherry Blanton and crew!
No, this is not an April Fools prank. April first is bringing with it many items that are taking an increase in price. In the state of Kentucky (where we have 55% of our stores) there will be a new tax increase on cigarettes, tobacco, and alcohol. They are calling it the "Sin Tax". With this increase cigarettes will be going up approximately $10 a carton and alcohol will be increased 6%.
